How do I change core simulation settings in Fincanva?

Fincanva’s core simulation settings define the foundational parameters for all your simulations. By setting the initial capital and primary currency, you ensure consistency across your investment analysis.

1. Click on your Name menu in the top navigation bar.

2. Select Account & Settings from the dropdown, then Platform Settings

3. In the Core Settings section, locate the following options:

Initial Capital: Set the starting amount for all simulations. This value impacts allocation calculations and final performance results.
Primary Currency: Choose the main currency (e.g., USD, EUR) used for reporting and portfolio-level calculations.

4. Make your desired changes to these fields.

5. Once you save the updated settings, Fincanva will automatically relaunch all simulations to apply the new initial capital and currency values.

Important
Any changes made to these settings will automatically trigger a relaunch of all existing simulations to reflect the updated configuration.
