What happens if I downgrade or let my Fincanva plan expire?

Modified on Mon, 14 Apr at 6:59 PM

If your Fincanva subscription is downgraded or expires, certain features and saved items may become temporarily restricted. However, your data is never deleted—you can still view and restore it at any time by upgrading your plan.

  • Frozen simulations and portfolios: Any simulations or portfolios that exceed the limits of your new (or free) plan will be marked as frozen. This means:

    • You cannot edit, run, or simulate them.

    • You cannot access their details, results, and settings.

  • Restoring full access:

    • To unfreeze simulations and portfolios, simply upgrade to a higher-tier plan that supports the number and complexity of your saved content.

    • Once upgraded, all features will be reactivated without data loss.

  • No data is lost: Even on the free plan, your frozen content remains securely stored and accessible in view mode. You’re free to explore or export insights from them until you’re ready to reactivate editing or simulation features.

This system ensures you always have access to your investment history and research, while giving you the flexibility to scale your subscription as your needs evolve.
